    I have been reading your books for several years now and wanted to know, do you have in mind how your characters will look or do they develop as you write about them?

    I usually have a character in mind before I begin the writing process. although the character may change as the story progresses, I still know who I am writing about very well. Sometimes I walk around with a character in mind for months before ever write a word.
